I work for store #268 I am clasified as O\N stocker but what I am is a overnight support manager keyes and all My asst. managers tell me it all pays the same just do it I work chemicals,pets,cokes & water pull down from the back GM,Grocery receiving and am expected to have the floor cleared before 6:45 AM,so I can unlock the GM doors and Garden Center Patio by 7:00am But I am told I cant receive support pay because CORPORATE does not recognize support in SUPPER CENTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Manager is a total demon. I work at store # 0624. She gets workers to talk about eachother behind their backs, then goes to that person a tells them what you said. She always puts her own twists on things. She is very jealous of those who have, or are getting good educations. She can't even operate a computer with any skill. She is very uneducated and likes to make other feel bad to make herself feel better. She says really nasty things about people. She makes fun of some of the customers who come into the store, and gets mad if you don't respond to it. She is the worst manager I've ever had. So many people are quitting because she makes working here so miserable.

At store 874 hours are cut on some employees, and we are told no one can touch the schedule because it is printed from home office.If you look at the schedule on a daily basic you can see someone is making changes giving their associates in their dept. more hours if they have been cut, and it's not a manager making changes all the time. It looks as if someone is not telling the real truth about the schedule. What is really the facts with the scheduling? Are they trying to get rid of the old and hire new workers?

Ive been working over walmart almost a year what I can say about this company they mainly care about money I started as a tempt got hired as a associates later when I first started working there one of the head csms was really rude she yelled at me in front of a customer she scares meyou dont know if she will be in a bad mood or a good mood I feel like i get jacked around because i work there partime they give me the crapppest schedule its like they punish you if you go school but I feel like I am trapped and can get out of it one good thing happen the lead csm that I had to deal with is leaving for another job for good halluia maybe things will get better sinece she is gone they do jack you around when you first work there specially if your partime and your trying to go school they will schedule you 38 hoursamake sure that you dont go over 40 I had to deal with that schedules for 6 months then I had to go over the csms head and talk to the store manager and of the course the csms retaliate and treat you like crap but thats the way it is The store number 5350 in utah

Store 3232 here, Our store rocks! Wayne is a nice guy!! Everyone is nice!! Sure there is a few "moody" customers/people but you get that everywhere! Walmart is a really cool place! And has low prices!!

I NOW WORK AT STORE #0477.RECENTLY WE CHANGED OUR STORE MANAGER.EVER SINCE THE ARRIVAL OF OUR NEW MANAGER MOST ALL THE EMPLOYEES HAVE BEEN UNHAPPY.THE MORALE IS VERY LOW AND AT TIMES IT MAKES IT DIFFICULT YO PERFORM YOUR JOB TO THE BEST OF YOUR ABILITY.A GRASS ROOTS SURVEY WAS TAKEN AND THE RESULTS WERE OVERWHELMINGLY BAD.A STORE MEETING WITH ALL EMPLOYEES WAS CONDUCTED AND COMMENTS WERE TAKEN AND PROMISED TO BE ADDRESSED BUT AS OF YET THERE IS STILL NO ACTION AND THE DESPAIR IS GROWING.COMMENTS WERE MADE THAT THE SURVEY MADE NO DIFFERENCE BECAUSE OF NOT BEING THE STORE MANAGER FOR AN ALLOTMENT OF TIME THAT WAS SUFFICIENT TO PERTAIN TO HIM.I DO LOVE MY JOB.I DESIRE TO BECOME A FRUITFUL EMPLOYEE.IT IS DIFFICULT ENOUGH WITH CONDITIONS BEING FAVORABLE BUT WHEN YOU ARE MET WITH OPPOSITION IT WOULD BE ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO REACH ANY GOAL YOU MAY HAVE SET FOR YOURSELF.I REALLY DO NOT WISH THIS TO BE TAKEN NEGATIVELY BUT THAT IT MIGHT BE VIWED AS A WAY TO THE ROAD OF IMPROVEMENT AND IT IS NOT ONLY FOR MYSELF BUT ALSO FOR ALL MY CO-WORKERS AND FUTURE EMPLOYEES.I WRITE THIS WITH THE DEEPEST SINCERITY AND HOPE THAT SOMEHOW THESE WORDS ARE HEARD FOR A CHANGE TOWARD BETTER CONDITIONS IN WHICH TO WORK .THANK YOU FOR HAVING A PLACE THAT I CAN HAVE MY VIEWS HEARD.

store 3344 sucks,1 year old store,already 2 store managers,first one fired for sexual harrassment,theft and treating people like slaves,he also acted like a child and would actually pout if he didnt get his way.second store manager is totally overwhelmed with the new store structure and doesnt have a clue.3 members of management have already left or quit.all others are activley seeking employment with other retailers.3 of which will be gone after they collect their measley bonuses.store should employ 400 people,now have 200.moral at an all time low,118% turn-over rate.all in winchester,virginia.

I work at store 2316 in North Olmsted Ohio this must be a training store new mgr asst mgrs all the time nobody knows what is going on district mgr changes her mind on a regular basis This used to be a top sales store but not any more customers are unhappy so are associates SALES ARE WAY DOWN!!!! You all complain about your stores, try #1175 . That store sucks. It's in Flagstaff, AZ . The store mgr. is having an affair with an assistant, everyone see's it. Managers talk about the assoc. all the time. There is no such thing as open door policy, there's closed door so they can ream your ass. This place is a joke. Wal-Mart CAN GET BENT.........

I work at Store #2146 in Amsterdam NY, our super douchebag of a store manager Cory is such an asshole, he changes policy, doesn't enforce policies that help him out. All he cares about is himself, he doesn't care about the workers or the work really. Half the time hes sitting in the personal office on his cell phone talking to his mistress. Hes a real pompous asshole. He wants us unloaders to do the work of every department, in 8 hours and they get mad when we cant do the work of O/N stockers, unloaders, and I.C.S. associates. if i didn't have to support myself i would quit, i have given 13 years of my life to this walmart and surrounding walmarts. i have worked in 10 different walmarts in 13 different departments in these last 13 years and im tired of it.

ics associate at 1527.our team leader margaret sawyer thinks sam walton died and left her control over our store.she pushes us women who are almost all over 40 and one even older to have the trucks unloaded before the unloaders even come in. she hollers at us to move, tells when we can go to lunch,and when to go to break. she is a racist bitch. a black associate doesn't stand a chance on ics.everyone has complained, even to human resources and nothing is done about her.she's old as dirt and should have her racist atttitude shoved up her wide butt and sent home permanently.and our management team too for letting her get way with it.and guess what, i'm white. but i'm tired of seeing good people being fired because of her 'problem' with their skin color. how do i get someone to listen and address her obvious problem? oh, have i led you to believe that she only messes with the ics team? no, not her,she's all over that store telling people what to do. our co manager neil told an associate one day that he was scared of her. scared of her? fire her you asshole!! in just a few months time she has all but destroyed our once awesome ics team.some have left our team to be sales associates,some she's had fired, and the rest of us are just waiting for her to die because noone wants or cares enough to listen to us.

Store here in Texas sucks too. They claim to listen and care but if you take time off cause youre sick or have to go to the hospital they cut your hours. They can, if they so choose, accept or deny a doctors note. Management bullies and threatens you if you don't change your availability to suit THEIR needs, and will cut your hours til you give in. There is no such thing as open door policy, yes they will listen and do nothing but put in your record that youre a complainer. The store manager says Nothing to any of the associates not even a hello and if he sees a mess or a person doing something wrong, he will tell ANOTHER manager to say something. Almost as if we are beneath him and therefore can not acknowledge us. I USED to love working here but I see people that arent working and just gossiping and No one does a thing, the hard workers get picked to do EVERYTHING while the slackers get left alone. WHY don't they fire the slackers?! Oh thats right, they kiss butt so they wont get fired. Inventory was done, we were worked long hard hours and what do we got to show for it? NOTHING! While upper management get fat bonuses for a great job. Whats up with that? Part-timers get no insurance or anything and starbridge is a joke!
Management also turns a blind eye to anyone that is being harrassed by another associate or even by a member of management! The scheduling is also a joke, and if you ask about it you get told the "Scorecard" writes the schedule, bull! It determines the amount of hours alotted to a department but NOT who works during that time, someone has to put in a name right?
I can say more but its already upsetting me just typing this out.
Im glad there is a website like this out there so people like me can get things off our chest. Thank you

well i just want everyone to know that store 1938 store manager is racist. he doesnt listen to anyones problems, he also pretend like he cares,but he truly dont. the whole frontend of the store is hispanic.he fired the majority of the blacks that been there for almost ten years working at the store. he holler at the management if they were his children. so now the assistant manager talk down to the associate in the store ,like they are stupid. the highlight of his day is to make everybody mad.

Here is my 2 cents, we all took the jobs at walmart. We all make the choice day in and day out to continue to work for walmart. If you arent happy at walmart, you can chose to leave. But those of you that have the major issues need to get them dealt with and stop trashing this company, if your attitudes are the same in your stores as they are on your blogs I can see why you have troubles.

I work store #1313 in San Antonio. I hate that managers make you think they need you, like your a valuable asset to the company when really its just a ploy to make you work feverishly while they walk around "taking notes." Our Support manager Serena god bless her she is the only support manager at our store and she is wonderful. I can tell management & they're lack of consideration is taking a toll on her not only physically but emotionally and they tell her she doesn't need the extra help she's doing great on her own, that's not the point (TEAMWORK) ya right. And as for me well I nod and smile and say "yes sir, or yes ma'am i'll get right on that" cause i know even if the task doesn't get done i'm not at all worried cause the lack of communication between our assistance in our facility is horrendous. Leading by example in our store is not an option cause when you lead they expect much much more out of you even more than is okay by anyone's standard. i believe it's better to fade in the back and just do your best.

Walmart is a colorful place, i feel there is a little neglagence on the managements part an most mask there issues with the pace by power tripping with the associates, but nowadays its everyman for himself here instead of a team member environment, all of that stuff aside here is where MY issue lies, i have been an associate for 6 months in a store that is only a year and a half old and about a year ago the store put a hold on transfers to the distribution center, which is literally right next door. At first the reason behind the hold was that too many ppl transfer out after the first 6 months. Understandable, but then they claim we are understaffed and will not hire anyone, the store and comanagers say there will be no transfers to the dc, no lift on the hold has been specified and we are losing associates faster then we are gaining them, i have gotten wind that sales are declining and hours will be cut, idk if ill ever get where i want to go around here, they tell us to strive for excellence but i want to excel at the dc, and i cannot go over our store managers head, what options are there please respond to this post.

i work at 3705 yelm wa, our hours are cut,short on staff,and they expect us to do more,and in less time,and now with the new zms positions they have had for awhile the managers just walk around or sit in the office and post meeting in progress,yea right for 2 flipping hours they wont answer any calls while there in a so called meeting, also when they want us to change an endcap and we do the other manager comes around and says to change it to something else! so why in the hell are they meeting for 2 hours,maybe they should talk about getting there shit together and be on the same page. i dont get paid enough to do there bidding change this oh no change it again!and as far as respect goes they have none,

I got hired at store 4259 on 07-28-2011 and during my time there I was asked to work off the clock 3 times by my supervisor,when I said no I was called into the office for not following orders and then on 09-03-2011 I was terminated for insubordination. So if you ever work at 4259 stay as far away as you can from Doug Gaddis and Robert Owens because they get their kicks from fucking people over.
